Please forgive me for some names I do not have but just know your kindness has been recognized with great appreciation and my deepest gratitude!

I went to Helm & Kyle expecting to pick up a few boxes of donations only to discover that the WHOLE conference room had been taken over by a mountain of toys, clothes, blankets & puzzles.This mountain seemed to have no bottom to it as the deeper we dug the more toys we found. All of these wonderful donations will provide hours upon hours of entertainment for children who have next to nothing.

There were so many things in fact that I could not even fit everything into my car!!

It took hours and days to count and organize all of the special gifts that had been donated .

First of all I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my special Blog.
My intention with this site is to raise awareness and motivation for you to help those in need near or far. For me it is across this planet in a far way country.
My personal goals in this site is to raise funds and collect the much needed items for these children in Uganda who have so little.
If you feel moved to contribute my goal is to collect 25 more of each of the following.

~Twin Bed sheets

~Dolls for girls 10 and under Cars and trucks for boys 10 and under

~Small gifts that young boy Teens (11-16 years old) would enjoy.
Cheap watch; flash light; Sport T shirt , ect Small gifts that young girl Teens (11-16 years old) would enjoy. Hand bag; Perfume; nail polish; jewelry etc

~Games like checkers; Sorry; Memory Match, etc. SEVERAL so they could all be playing some type of game at the same time. Easy to learn and play in groups. Decks of Cards are great--1 each would be fun for the older kids (45). Puzzles for young children---any type of children developmental toys. Crayons and colored pencils and markers.

~ Girl's panties---all sizes Boys briefs----all sizes

~Scarfs and hats and caps are loved! (50 girls and 50 boys--all ages)

In order for the children to receive these gifts by Christmas they must be collected and mailed to Uganda no later than November 10 , 2008.
